Racial esthetics

Ludwig Ferdinand Clauss was a specialist in comparative racial psychology and comparative racial esthetics.
In his book Die Nordische Seele he writes : upon entering a restaurant a Nordic would automatically seek out a dark corner table whereas a Mediterranean would sit easily at the noisy center-table. This is because Nordics are biologically attuned to misty, dark forests and moors and hills.
In his book Rasse und Charakter he makes the remarkable observation that a person’s facial expression is more a marker of his racial composition than his physical appearance.
It is a pity that no work of his has ever been translated in English.
